Nobody wants to need a pharmacy at 4 am and not know where to go. Luckily, Montreal has a bunch of essential spots that are open 24 hours a day.

We’re talking gas stations, all-day parking garages, restaurants, and pharmacies.

From a 2 am bagel to the 5 am band-aid, here are some 24-hour spots around Montreal you should know about.

PJC Jean Coutu

Everyone needs a 24-hour pharmacy in their repertoire. Whether that’s getting essential supplies in the wee hours of the morning or stuff for the kids a night, this downtown Jean Coutu (corner of Parc and Sherbrooke) does not close.

La Banquise, first opened its doors in 1968. They specialize in an incredible amount of poutine varieties, including classic, Italian, meat-lover, vegan, Michigan, sausage, the list goes on.

If you’re on the hunt for a delicious, giant, late-night (or early-morning) poutine, there really isn’t a better specialty option than La Banquise.

Angela’s makes a mean pizza. Their pies are good at 6 pm, so you can imagine how much they’ll hit the spot at 4 am when you really need it.

There’s always something going on at the Casino de Montréal. The casino is not technically running 24/7 just yet (due to COVID) but will ramp up its hours throughout the summer, assuming everything goes well amid the ongoing pandemic.
