THE CHALLENGE

Westbank aimed to drive awareness of Vancouver’s new Beach District and the furnished studios available for lease at Vancouver House. The goal of the first article was to set the stage for the subsequent piece zeroing in on rental apartments designed by Bjarke Ingels Group at 1477 Continental Street. Consequently, the content intended to build interest in an iconic architectural breakthrough.

THE SOLUTION

Taking an original approach to achieving the client’s objectives, we spent time exploring the Beach District, capturing photographs of local points of interest that would help tell the story of this growing neighbourhood. For the second article, we led with an experiential angle that saw our writer live in a Vancouver House rental apartment for a weekend. Documenting this point of view allowed our readers to envision themselves following a similar path and living in the city’s newest neighbourhood.
