Edmonton-based dessert bar to open a new downtown location

Crumb Bar is opening a new spot in Edmonton, making this the second-ever location of the local dessert bar.
In 2024, Crumb Bar was born in Edmonton inside a Pizza 73 location, with the goal of redefining dessert with a “fresh, creative twist.” The spot grew quickly in popularity, offering warm cakes, build-your-own dessert cups, and fun rotating flavours.
Following its success, the business is officially opening a second location. And, according to its Instagram bio, it’s slated to open in Fall 2026.

The new location will be taking over downtown Edmonton, just a quick walk from Jasper Avenue. You’ll be able to find it at The Cobalt.
Here, you can try its signature dessert cups featuring cakes, mini pancakes, and cookie dough, alongside a variety of toppings, or you can even create your own cup with your own warm base, preferred layers, and toppings.
Although we have the location of the new dessert bar, we don’t have any further details yet about the exact opening date or hours. Though it’s expected to open this fall, we’re definitely going to keep an eye out for any new details on the way.
Those in the downtown area will be getting a whole lot more custard and cake coming their way. No more driving over to Terra Losa; these delectable desserts will be at your fingertips soon enough.
