A new dessert bar has opened its first Western Canadian location in Edmonton

Western Canada doesn’t have to wait any longer for these sweet treats, because Lokma just held the grand opening of its new Edmonton location over the weekend.
Lokma, according to its website, started after the founders took a trip to Turkey and discovered the traditional Turkish pastry called lokma. After adding their own personal touch, the founders recreated the dessert and are serving it at restaurants across Canada, alongside other treats.
After opening spots in Ontario and Quebec, the chain has finally come out west and opened its first location in Edmonton this October.
