The beauty of Banff National Park is no stranger to many Albertans, and professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau was recently wowed by its scenery.

DeChambeau posted on his YouTube channel yesterday exploring one of the world’s most beautiful golf courses in the world, the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course.

“Even the car ride out to this place, the views are incredible,” the golf pro exclaimed on his journey from Calgary to Banff.

He also remarked throughout the video that being around the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel felt like being at Narnia or Hogwarts.

“Literally, you couldn’t put a golf course in a better place. This is ridiculous; I have never seen anything like this. All of my golf, 22, 23 years of playing golf, 24 maybe even, never seen anything like this,” DeChambeau said, gushing about the surrounding beauty of Banff National Park numerous times throughout the clip.

“I really could not tell you how ethereal this place is; it is unbelievable.”

Part of his reasoning to visit the golf course at Fairmont in Banff was to see how it would rank within his own personal favourite courses, and it did make it into his very own list of the top five most beautiful golf courses in the world.

As of writing, the YouTube video of DeChambeau’s time in Banff has amassed more than one million views.

In addition to DeChambeau, Banff has also caught the eye of many celebrities over the years, with Justin and Hailey Bieber spending time at the iconic Lake Louise last year, country superstar Luke Combs praising it during his stay a few years back, and Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston calling the town and surrounding attractions “stupidly gorgeous” after his visit.
