After sharing an impressive win, three Canadian lottery players have reason to celebrate this week.
The Lotto Max draw took place on Tuesday, March 11, and the winning numbers were 02, 10, 19, 21, 29, 35, 40, and bonus 46. The jackpot was worth $30 million, but no one will take home the top prize.
However, three people managed to match six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number, netting themselves the second prize. According to PlayNow, two winning tickets were sold in Western Canada, while the third was sold in Ontario. Split between them, each winner will soon take home a $49,779.80 prize.

The third prize will be split among the 31 lottery players who matched six of the seven winning numbers. Each will receive $4,817.40.
In B.C., no one won the Lotto Max Extra prize worth $500,000. Similarly, in Ontario, no one will be taking home the Encore prize worth $1 million.
It’s been several weeks since someone took home the Lotto Max jackpot.
One lottery player became an instant multimillionaire after snagging the top prize worth $40 million in the Feb. 21 draw. The winning numbers were 03, 05, 08, 25, 29, 32, 43, and bonus 31, and according to OLG, the ticket was sold in Oshawa, Ont.
Before that, another Ontario lottery player won the Lotto Max jackpot worth $25 million during the draw that took place on Jan. 31. The ticket was sold in Torontoās Willowdale neighbourhood.
Hoping to try your luck in the next draw? The next Lotto Max draw is set for Friday, March 14, and the jackpot is worth $40 million.
