Although no one won the Lotto Max or Lotto 6/49 jackpot, several Canadian lottery players won some pretty big prizes over the weekend.

The Lotto Max draw took place on Friday, March 7, and the winning numbers were 04, 12, 28, 36, 38, 45, 50, and bonus 49. But even though no one will be taking home the $25 million jackpot, one person matched six of the seven winning numbers and the bonus number to win the second prize. According to PlayNow, the lucky winner from Quebec won $161,059.10.

Twenty-five winners will split the third prize, each receiving $6,442.40.

No one won the Lotto Max Extra prize worth $500,000 in B.C. or the $1 million Encore prize worth $1 million in Ontario.

The next Lotto Max draw is set for Tuesday, March 11, and the jackpot is worth $30 million.

The Lotto 6/49 draw took place on Saturday, March 8, and no one won the $26-million Gold Ball prize. However, someone from Western Canada is now $1 million richer after winning the guaranteed White Ball prize and matching the number 20837449-01.

Saturday’s draw also proved lucky for another lottery player who won the $5-million Classic Draw prize after they matched the winning numbers 02, 03, 13, 27, 36, 48, and bonus 15. The ticket was sold in Quebec.

No one won the Classic Draw second prize, but 81 people will split the third prize, each receiving $982.60.

There were also 25 guaranteed $10,000 prizes. As for the winning tickets, four were sold in B.C., five in Western Canada, 10 in Ontario, four in Quebec, and two in Atlantic Canada.

No one won the Lotto 6/49 Classic Draw prize worth $500,000 or the Encore prize worth $1 million.

The next Lotto 6/49 draw is set for Wednesday, March 12, and the Gold Ball prize is worth $28 million.
