Vera's Burger Shack is set to open three Calgary locations
Calgary already has some pretty impressive burger spots to check out, but soon, the city will be home to one of BC’s most well-loved burger joints.
Vera’s Burger Shack, a popular spot for everything burger in BC, is set to expand its reach from the West Coast and open three new locations in Calgary.
In a press release, the company said the three-location deal with local franchise partners marks a “significant milestone” for the brand in Alberta.

The first Calgary location is set to open this spring in the Northland redevelopment area where Northland Village Mall used to be. Details on the other two spots have yet to be announced.
Vera’s will be serving up hand-pressed Canadian beef patties stacked with tons of toppings.Ā It also has offerings such as hot dogs, chicken fingers and wings, and classic sides such as fries, poutine and onion rings.

Vera’s Burger Shack has been a staple in lower mainland BC since it opened in 1977. It now runs several stores in the province and an outpost in Ottawa.
