Calgary is getting a brand-new food truck festival next month
The weather may have other plans right now, but food festival season is right around the corner. While we get ready to eat and drink in the sun, we’ve just got word of another exciting foodie event on the horizon.
For the first time, Taste of Calgary will be hosting a food truck edition, which is set to take place at Quonset at Crossroads Market on Saturday, May 23.
The festival will have more than 40 food trucks taking part, and best of all, admission is free. All you need to do is pay for the food you eat.

The event is set to run from 2 to 11 p.m., so there’ll be plenty of time to check out everything on offer. The lineup has yet to be announced, but it’s going to be a good one.
Later this summer, Taste of Calgary‘s OG event will also be returning, though to a new location at Cowboys Park.
