Calgary's popular all-inclusive meat and beer festival returns this summer

One of Calgary’s most highly anticipated foodie events is returning to Calgary this year, and tickets are finally on sale.
Brewery & The Beast, the annual celebration of brews, meat, and all things delicious, is returning to The Confluence on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2026.
For those who have never attended, Brewery & the Beast is an all-you-can-enjoy meat and beer festival. This year, over 60 of Calgary and Banff’s best culinary talents will attend, offering all sorts of delicious meaty creations.
While the full lineup has yet to be revealed, Bonterra Trattoria, JINBAR, Knotted Roots, Little Chief Restaurant at Grey Eagle Resort & Casino, Major Tom, Maven, PARK By Sidewalk Citizen, and River Café are just a handful of the spots set to serve up some tasty bites.
Guests can choose their own adventure when it comes to pairing dishes with a selection of refreshing cocktails, craft beer, ciders, premium wines, seltzers, and non-alcoholic options. There will also be live music and guest DJs to keep the party going.
Tickets for the event start at $159.95, but a VIP option starts at $259.95, which gets you a one-hour exclusive experience with a premium selection of bites and beverages from acclaimed guest chefs and bartenders, a private lounge to relax between tastings, price bars, and 10 minutes of early access to the main event.

“Brewery & the Beast is about more than fantastic food — it’s a full-on celebration of Calgary’s culinary scene, community and summer fun,” said Scott Gurney, founder of Brewery & the Beast.
“From incredible dishes to craft drinks and live music, it’s an experience that brings people together, supports important initiatives and tastes as good as it feels.”
Brewery & the Beast will also make stops in Toronto on July 26, Vancouver on Aug. 30 and Vancouver Island on Sept. 27. Tickets are available online now, and as the event usually sells out, you’ll want to be quick.
