Phil & Sebastian, one of Calgary’s most well-known and loved coffee shops, has just opened its new Seton outpost, marking its ninth in the city.

Guests will be able to enjoy the coffee roaster’s lineup of espresso-based drinks, matcha, and more. Alongside beverages, the spot will also offer a selection of Hoopla Donuts and fresh bagels from Deputy Bagel.

Tat’s Treats is a tiny new ice cream shop that’s just opened its doors in Marda Loop just ahead of the warmer weather.

Unlike many of the city’s scoop shops, it specializes in cereal-infused soft serve, focusing on those nostalgic flavours you remember from childhood. There are mixes such as the In the Loop, which combines Froot Loops, frosted flakes, Kit Kat, and marshmallow blended into Tat’s Treats milky vanilla soft serve.

India Paradise


India Paradise has just opened its first location in Western Canada, in none other than YYC. The new spot has officially opened its doors at 3131 27th St. NE.

The restaurant is home to dozens of authentic and traditional Indian dishes from Tandoori chicken to chilli paneer and dosa.

Sushi Hoshiko

Sushi Hoshiko has just opened in Calgary’s Riverbend neighbourhood, offering all-you-can-eat sushi and Thai food, so stretchy pants are a must.

The spot offers a staggering array of dishes with over 160 to choose from, featuring everything from tempura, salads, pizza, udon and of course, a whole ton of sushi.
