Highly anticipated Calgary food festival to return this summer in a brand-new location

One of Calgary’s most highly anticipated food events is heading back to the city this summer, and there’s a pretty exciting difference.
Taste of Calgary is returning from Thursday, July 30 to Monday, Aug. 3, and the event recently revealed that for 2026, it will be headed to a brand-new location.
This year, dozens of restaurants, breweries, and food trucks will be gathering at Cowboys Park, at 1220 9th Ave. SW, offering samples of delicious snacks and beverages to enjoy.

With the change of location, Taste of Calgary promises there will be “more vendors, more food trucks, more food stands, and more entertainment for everyone to enjoy.”
Best of all, admission to Taste of Calgary is free. Visitors will be able to purchase Taste tickets for $1 apiece, which can be used to purchase sample-sized dishes from each of the vendors. Items will cost between two and eight tickets each.
Taste of Calgary is slowly unveiling its line-up of vendors, with spots such as Happy Fish, Lighthouse, and IBU set to take part so far.
