Another McDonald’s in Calgary has closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

On April 22, a staff member working at the McDonald’s located at 4545 25 Street SE in Calgary reported they had contracted the coronavirus.

The employee’s last shift was on  April 19 from 5 to 11 pm.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation. The restaurant will re-open once direction has been given by Alberta Health Services to do so.

All crew members who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any guests who may have visited this restaurant on April 19 to take directions from the experts at Alberta Health Services.

The 25th Street restaurant is the sixth McDonald’s location in YYC to close because of an employee testing positive for coronavirus since March 20, 2020.

Here are the other five locations that had previously shuttered.
