McDonald’s Canada has announced that an employee at a Calgary restaurant has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee’s last shift as a Guest Experience Leader was on March 9 from 5 to 8 pm at the McDonald’s at 20 Riverglen Drive SE in Calgary.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation. The restaurant will re-open “once direction has been given by Alberta Health Services.”

In addition to closing the restaurant, all other team members who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any guests who may have visited the restaurant on March 9 to take directions from the experts at Alberta Health Services.
