McDonald’s Canada has announced that an employee at another Calgary restaurant has tested positive for COVID-19.

On April 11, a staff member working at the McDonald’s located at 4615 17th Avenue SE Calgary reported they had tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee’s last shift was on April 5, from 12:30 to 8 pm.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation. The restaurant will re-open once direction has been given by Alberta Health Services to do so.

All crew members who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any guests who may have visited the restaurant on April 5 to take directions from the experts at Alberta Health Services.

Two other Calgary McDonald’s have closed previously due to the same reason. These locations include restaurants located at 1600 90th Avenue SW and 20 Riverglen Drive SE.
