McDonald’s Canada has announced that an employee at a Calgary restaurant has tested positive for COVID-19.

On April 8, a staff member working at the McDonald’s located at 1600 90th Avenue SW reported they had tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee’s last shift was on April 2 from 7 am to 3 pm.

This location has now been shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation. The restaurant will re-open once direction has been given by Alberta Health Services.

All crew members who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

McDonald’s Canada is asking for any guests who may have visited the restaurant on April 2 to take directions from the experts at Alberta Health Services.
