Neighbourhood pub chain known for enormous poutines opening new Calgary location

A super popular neighbourhood pub chain has teased a new Calgary location, which is great news for those living in the south.
Seton is already seeing some exciting restaurant action with one of YYC’s best brunch spots announcing it will be opening in the neighbourhood. Now, Leopold’s Tavern has revealed it will be home to its latest outpost.
Leopold’s Tavern – or Leo’s as it is commonly known – originated in Regina and is a classic bar, offering a wide range of local craft beers, house cocktails, wine, and zero-proof beverages.
However, guests won’t want to miss out on the food either, with tons of weekly deals from Taco Tuesday and Wing Wednesday, as well as handhelds and appetizers.
One of its most well-known and loved dishes is its poutine, which comes with toppings ranging from the original cheese curds and gravy to buffalo chicken. There are even some wild weekly features, with past heavy hitters such as honey dill popcorn chicken and smoked brisket mac and cheese.
If you’re up for a challenge, the chain is home to the enormous punchbowl poutine, which includes five pounds of French fries, one pound of cheese curds, and a litre of gravy.
The Seton outpost will be Leo’s fifth in Calgary. It has over 20 locations across Canada, including Edmonton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria.
While the spot has yet to reveal its Seton opening date, stay tuned for details on the new outpost!
