New European-inspired restaurant and bar opens in Calgary

Edmonton Trail is fast becoming a foodie hotspot, with celebrated restaurants such as Pizza Culture and Bar Gigi already residing on the street.

Now, a brand-new restaurant has joined the party. Enter: Le Charme, a new European-inspired bar and restaurant.

Previously home to Diner Deluxe, the Edmonton Trail spot has been transformed, bringing European charm and elegance to the space, complete with vintage artwork adorning the walls.

Its concise menu features everything from shareables, such as pâté en croute, truffle fries, shrimp toast, and confit chicken thigh, to larger plates, including pork schnitzel, Alberta rainbow trout, and Alberta flank steak.

Le Charme isn’t the only addition to the block, with new coffee and sandwich shop Uncommon Drip opening right next door.
