One of Alberta's most popular breweries is coming to Calgary

Looks like the tide is changing for one Calgary spot, with the arrival of an extremely popular Edmonton brewery.

Signage for Sea Change Brewing Co., one of Alberta’s most recognizable craft breweries, has been spotted on 11th Avenue SW. It appears as though the popular brand will be taking over the space previously occupied by Inner City Brewing.

After first opening in Edmonton in 2017, Sea Change’s popularity has soared over the years, with its beers, packaged predominantly in American traditional tattoo-inspired cans, widely available across the province. However, it’s exciting to see the brand expand with a physical presence in YYC.

As well as its OG taproom in Edmonton, Sea Change also operates another outpost in Beaumont, with the soon-to-be Calgary spot marking its third.

While there’s no information yet on when the Calgary outpost will open, we’ll be waiting not-so-patiently.
