Ramen restaurant known for its 20-hour simmered broth to open new Calgary location

One of Calgary’s most popular spots for ramen is gearing up to finally open a brand-new outpost in the city.
After opening up in YYC back in 2017, Jinya Ramen Bar will be opening a brand-new outpost on Calgary’s Macleod Trail on April 9 with plenty of freebies on offer.
The new location, located near Heritage Square and Acadia Recreation Complex, will offer even more Calgarians a chance to get their hands on Jinya’s famous ramen dishes.
All of the international franchise’s six signature broths are simmered in-house for 20 hours and flavoured with pork bones, chicken, vegetables, and traditional Japanese ingredients such as bonito, dashi, miso, and kombu.
Each bowl comes complete with smooth, silky noodles and is packed with everything from tender pork chasu, perfectly poached eggs, fresh vegetables, and more.
In addition to flavourful ramen bowls, Jinya serves dishes including gyoza, tempura, sashimi, poke tacos, rice bowls, and curry.
Ramen fans will want to mark their calendars, as to celebrate its opening day, the first 100 guests in line at the 8810 Macleod Tr. SE location will receive a free bowl of ramen.
The new Macleod Trail outpost will be Jinya Ramen Bar’s second in Calgary and its sixth in Canada.
