Inside the new 160-seat restaurant pop-up at Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary
Cowboys Music Festival is back in action starting July 3, and for the first time, the iconic festival will have a full-service restaurant, courtesy of one of Calgary’s most popular restaurants.
CRAFT Beer Market is popping up right inside the brand-new festival grounds at Cowboys Park, where it will run until July 13, and offer a huge selection of food, drinks and stage views.
We got a first look at the new space and a sneak peek at the offerings, and it’s safe to say that Cowboys guests will not be disappointed.

The enclosed patio will seat 160 people, with large booths that can seat eight or tables for four people at a time. All of the seats offer views of the stage and large screens, so you’ll be able to catch the performances. During performance times, a minimum spend of $500 is required for four-tops and $1,000 for booths of eight.

There is also a huge bar offering everything from CRAFT cocktails, beer, and wine to some exciting Stampede specials, such as Shoot the Boot Crown Royal shots, served in adorable cowboy boot shot glasses, and the Pink Pony Club cocktail in an enormous boot-style glass.
As for the food, expect a menu of some of CRAFT’s most popular dishes, some of which have been adapted for the festival environment. We tried the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, a nice refreshing dish to help beat the Stampede heat.

Diners will also be able to get their hands on burgers, sliders, pizza and a riff on CRAFT’s famous barrel of nachos, served with fries instead of tortilla chips, perfect to share.

Reservations for CRAFT’s pop-up can be made on OpenTable, with limited space for walk-ins each day. There will also be VIP booths available, offering premium views of your favourite headliners.
Acts including The Chainsmokers, Fall Out Boy, Macklemore, T-Pain and more are set to take the stage at Cowboys Music Festival this year.
