CRAFT Beer Market to open at Southcentre Mall

One of Calgary’s premier craft beer destinations, CRAFT Beer Market has announced plans to open a second location, at Southcentre Mall.

Scheduled to open summer, 2016, the casual restaurant and beer house, like its 10th Avenue counterpart located in the Beltline District, will offer an extensive range of craft beer (over 120 in fact), wine, cocktails and spirits, in addition to a broad dine-in menu, which will focus on fresh, local produce.

Since launching in Calgary in 2011, CRAFT Beer Market has opened restaurants in Edmonton, Vancouver and is set to open an Ottawa location in early 2016. While the company’s expansion into other major Canadian cities has been well-received, CRAFT Beer Market has been looking to secure a second Calgary location for some time. After looking at multiple buildings and developments in Calgary the company chose Southcentre to house their new development.

“It was very important for us to find the perfect fit for our second location here in Calgary,” says PJ L’Heureux, Owner of CRAFT Beer Market. “Southcentre has done a great job of building an impressive line-up of brands and we are excited to be a part of that offering to people living in the southwest.”

CRAFT Beer Market will be located on the south-side of the shopping centre, between Crate & Barrel and Restoration Hardware. Stay tuned to CRAFT Beer Market’s social media pages or further developments.
