While it may not feel like a proper Calgary winter without a bit of snow on the ground, Old Man Winter continues to hold out on us in this week’s forecast.
Neither rain nor snow is on the docket for the next seven days, even though temperatures are expected to drop to as low as -15°C.
Instead, we’ll be getting the usual mix of sun and clouds – which really isn’t all that much to complain about, as that Vitamin D can work wonders in these dark, dark months.
Temperatures remain mild for the first half of the week, but once we hit Thursday night those gauges will begin to plummet, hitting -15°C that night, for a temperature shift of 18°C in just 24 hours.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be much the same, never getting any warmer than -4°C – though no colder than Thursday night, either.
We’ll just have to hope for another chinook to swing by and bring the just-a-sweater weather back to Calgary.
