6 awesome sculptures to check out at Banff's Snow Days Festival (PHOTOS)

There’s snowmen, and then there’s snow sculptures.

While the former can be made by practically anyone on a snowy day in roughly half an hour, the latter are works of art that take a steady hand and a creative vision to pull off.

Not that there’s anything wrong with the snowman you made this year… but it just can’t quite compete with these works of frozen art.

The Snow Days Festival in Banff is an annual event that includes an outdoor gallery of snow sculptures that look absolutely unreal.

This year’s festival features six snowy creations that tower over attendees and make for great photo ops.
