Calgary could see a 26°C temperature boost just in time for Halloween

Calgary saw a massive temperature shift this week and it wasn’t necessarily for the better, but we should swing back to warmer temperatures just in time for Halloween!

Calgarians went to bed with snow on Sunday night and woke up to even more snow on Monday morning, and it isn’t expected to go away for the next couple of days.

While light flurries and temperatures below zero are predicted until the end of the week, temperatures will start to rise over the weekend, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.

The sun will come out on Friday and temperatures will creep above zero starting on Sunday.

By Tuesday, we could see a high of 12°C, which is a 26°C shift from the chilly temperatures that are predicted for Wednesday night.

That means Halloween is so far the warmest day in the forecast, so happy trick-or-treating!
