Chop Steakhouse & Bar in Chinook Centre has closed after serving up Calgarians for a decade. The restaurant was tucked into the mall near theĀ Scotiabank Theatre side of the centre. It featured a spacious interior and an airy rooftop patio.

Nellieās Cosmic Cafe permanently closed after two decades of business on the popular Calgary street. TheĀ 1001 17 Avenue SW spot was known for its kitschy, eclectic decor and classic breakfast fare.
