39 new cases of coronavirus, 1 additional death confirmed in Alberta

A total of 39 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Alberta, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the province to 6,683

Another person has now died as a result of the disease as well, bringing the provincial total of coronavirus-related deaths to 128.

5,519 people have recovered from coronavirus in Alberta so far.

A total of 65 people are currently being treated in hospital, 9 of whom have been admitted to intensive care units (ICU).

Most of the active cases in the province are located in the Calgary zone.
