"Bad driver never misses their exit": Wrong-way car spotted on Sea to Sky ramp
A driver shared a scary moment north of Vancouver when they came face-to-face with a wrong-way driver on an on-ramp to the Sea to Sky Highway.
It happened Wednesday on the Seascape on-ramp just north of Horseshoe Bay. The driver was making their way onto the highway when they noticed another vehicle coming toward them.
Luckily, both cars passed each other safely by moving to the opposite shoulders of the road.
“I’m remembering that one. I got that on camera,” one person in the car says.
“Are you kidding me?” a second adds. “How did he make it here?”
The driver shared video to Reddit, where it quickly gained popularity with people wondering how the wrong-way car made it there.
“Must have pulled a U-turn onto the ramp. Insane,” one commenter said.
Daily Hive has reached out to Squamish RCMP for comment, who told us the on-ramp falls within the West Vancouver Police Department’s jurisdiction. The West Vancouver Police Department has not yet responded.
One Reddit user summed up the moment succinctly, saying, “a bad driver never misses their exit.”
