Heads up, chicken wing lovers, a new spot is opening its first-ever B.C. location in Vancouver, and it claims to be “Canada’s best chicken wing restaurant franchise.”

WingsUp!, a Canadian chicken wing restaurant chain originating from Ontario, confirmed to Dished that it’s gearing up to open in Vancouver at 3003 Kingsway. This is just steps away from the recently opened Noople Noodle and Dumpling House (which took over the space of Sea House, but kept the same fish and chip recipe).

The restaurant is known for its hand-cut, breaded, and made-to-order chicken wings, which come in 18 different wing flavours, including classics such as BBQ, sweet, spicy, and dry seasoning.

Alongside traditional bone-in wings, the spot also serves boneless bites and chicken sandwiches, which can also be tossed in your preferred sauce.

Its chicken offerings are available as combos with sides for one person, or if you’re dining with a larger group, Wings Up offers family meals of up to 6 lbs of wings, dips and sides.

After first opening in Milton, Ont., in 1988, the chain has expanded to 36 locations across Canada.

Additionally, folks in Surrey are also in luck because the chain is planning on opening a location at 12477 88th Ave.

WingsUp! Vancouver officially opens its doors on Sept. 20.
