The Rio Theatre in Vancouver, voted the number one independent theatre in the city, has been around since 1938, showcasing cult-favourite movies, hosting live events and concerts, and offering standout sips and bites at its concession stand. Now, the theatre is gearing up to launch something new: a cafe and bar right next door to the theatre.
“Very excited to announce! COMING SOON… Next door to the Rio! The Rio Grindhouse Gallery Cafe/ Bar!” shared owner Corinne Lea on Instagram.
Other than that, not much is known about the new dual cafe and bar.
