The Southsiders might need to amend one of their chants.
With the Vancouver Whitecaps set to reveal new away kits before the 2018 season kicks off in March, it appears there’s been a leak.
They’re not blue. They’re not white.
We will soon find out if fans think they’re f’n dynamite.

The website FootyHeadlines.comĀ (allegedly) uncovered the new jerseys on Tuesday, claiming the Whitecaps will go with a dark grey kit with silver trim this season. If true, it’s unlike any uniform the Whitecaps have worn before.
If the current home kits are rain-inspired, perhaps these represent a storm cloud? Or maybe they’re the colour of Boundary Road?
Perhaps I’m overthinking it.
The up-close view shows some of the details around the collar, as well as a triangular pattern on the Adidas-made jersey.
As is customary in the beautiful game, Whitecaps jerseys have a two-year life cycle with a new jersey (home or away) being unveiled before every season.
The new black and silver look – if the leak is to be believed – would be a drastic change from the blue Sea-to-Sky kits that will be retired.
The Whitecaps will officially reveal their new uniforms on February 5.
*Update: The Whitecaps posted a teaser video Tuesday evening to drop some hints:
