The Whitecaps unveiled brand new primary jerseys for 2017 in front of season ticket holders at their annual season launch party at the Vogue Theatre on Monday.

The jersey is a pattern of triangles, representing rain.

Fans in attendance were given the opportunity to ask questions to head coach Carl Robinson, president Bob Lenarduzzi, as well as part-owners Jeff Mallett and Steve Nash. Overshadowing everyone though, was MLS commissioner Don Garber, who drew the ire of some fans.

The Whitecaps travel to Portland on Tuesday as they continue to prepare for their first game of consequence, a CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal, against New York Red Bulls on February 22.
