Yuu Japanese Tapas is probably best known for its ramen food challenges and night market-esque drinks, but there’s something they’ve recently added to the menu that is even more buzzworthy than both of these things.
The Richmond Japanese restaurant began serving ramen beer in May, and people are both amazed and confused about the nature of this new unique dish.

Despite the fact that it’s served in a large glass beer stein, the menu item is essentially no different than cold ramen served in many eateries in Meto Vancouver.
Yuu’s chilled beer ramen is made from bonito flake broth, ramen noodles, and the top foam is made of egg whites and gelatine.
The Beer Ramen is on Yuu’s summer menu for $14.95 and it comes with veggie tempura. Get it while you can and see what you think of this creation.
