International waffle chain expands with first Vancouver location opening soon
Folks around Vancouver with a hankering for a sweet treat are in luck now that The Waffle Co. has announced it will be opening its first location in the city.
On Jan. 30, the dessert shop teased that its third Canadian location would be in Vancouver.
The chain is best known for its variety of sweet waffles, such as its TWC Special Waffle, which is topped with homemade Nutella, crushed brownie, white chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. Plus, all of its waffles are made entirely without eggs.
The Waffle Co. also serves mini pancakes in different sweet varieties, as well as French fries, “thick” shakes, and much more.
“Hello Vancouver, we’re coming soon,” wrote the dessert shop.

According to its website, it has 100+ stores spread around the globe. The chain also said it is hoping to expand further. Currently, it operates locations in both Surrey and White Rock.
An exact address and opening date have yet to be shared for the new location.
