Over three-decade-old Vancouver restaurant closes its doors

Unfortunately, another longstanding Vancouver restaurant has closed its doors. This time, it’s Victoria Chinese Restaurant, which has been in operation for over three decades.
Located inside the Royal Centre Shopping Mall, Victoria Chinese Restaurant first opened its doors in 1991 and was best known for its authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum and seafood dishes. Think steamed BBQ pork buns, pork and shrimp dumplings, and noodle and rice dishes.
While the restaurant did not make a formal announcement online, it shared the news of its closure with a sign in its window.
