Vancouver Coastal Health has added more schools in Vancouver, Richmond, and North Vancouver to its list of institutions with recent COVID-19 exposures.

In Vancouver, three public schools and one Montessori school were added to the list Monday.

Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith Elementary School had an exposure from November 2 to 3, J.W. Sexsmith Elementary School had an exposure on October 30 and November 2, Britannia Community Elementary School had an exposure on October 30, and Vancouver Montessori School had an exposure from November 2 to 3.

In Richmond, one high school has a new exposure. Richmond Secondary School had someone show up while infectious on November 2 and 3.

In North Vancouver, Lynmour Elementary School is reporting an exposure on November 3 and 4.

Exposures mean someone came to school in the days before receiving a positive COVID-19 test result. Contact tracers are notifying close contacts directly, and anyone who doesn’t receive a call from public health can go to school as normal.
