Gastown Sunday Set

Low Tide Properties
What: For the third consecutive summer, a pedestrian zone will return to Water Street in downtown Vancouver’s historic Gastown district.
Take in family-friendly programming, enjoy live music, pop-ups and shopping, and more throughout the neighbourhood every Sunday.
When: Sundays from July 5 to Sept. 6, 2026

Candlelight Open Air: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons at Grouse Mountain
What: An outdoor candlelight concert is coming to Grouse Mountain for two dates this summer.
The highly anticipated show will be put on by Fever, with the live, multi-sensory musical experience featuring hits from both Coldplay and Imagine Dragons. Get ready to hear timeless songs like “Clocks” and “Thunder” performed by a string quartet.
Tickets include the gondola trip and mountain admission anytime after 4 p.m. Additional add-ons are also available.

Harrison Lake Inflatable Waterpark
What: Harrison Lake Inflatable Water Park has reopened for the new season, and be prepared to get wet during your visit.
Harrison Watersports’ giant attraction not only has an epic floating obstacle course/playground on the lake, but you can also rent bumper boats and Sea-Doos for the ultimate lake trip.
There’s a “Wipeout Style” obstacle course, with swings, teeter-totters, hamster balls, monkey bars, and the popular Blob.

North Vancouver’s Shipyards Night Market

Shipyards Night Market/Destination Vancouver
What: North Vancouver’s Shipyards Night Market (SYNM) is celebrating its 13th anniversary in Lower Lonsdale in 2026. The popular free event takes place every Friday and features a beer garden, live music, market vendors and food trucks.
When: Every Friday until Sept. 11, 2026

Whistler Summer Concert Series
What: Summertime was made for outdoor concerts, and Whistler is offering a stunning backdrop for both artists and music lovers this year.
The Whistler Summer Concert Series returns to Whistler Olympic Plaza from July to September, with 13 nights of free live music, 11 outdoor movie screenings, and more. Headlining acts include the Steven Page Trio, The Trews, Skiitour, and more.
When: Various dates in July and August 2026
Time: 6:30 p.m. (live DJ sets) and 7:30 p.m. (headlining sets). Movies start at 8 p.m.

PROLINE House Pop-Up at Butcher & Bullock
What: The PROLINE House Pop-Up at Butcher and Bullock is the place to get the games, where you can have the ultimate soccer experience. Pop-up dates above will have over $15,000 in giveaways each day, with PROLINE swag bags given out to the first 100 people, and each day will have a grand prize package worth over $1,000.
To get in on the action, make a reservation for pop-up event days – for every $5 bet placed, you’ll receive a ballot for the grand prize giveaway and enjoy the game. Theatre Under the Stars

Theatre Under The Stars
What: A longtime Vancouver theatre tradition returns to Stanley Park with a pair of iconic Broadway musicals.
Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS)’s 2026 season, its 86th year at the Malkin Bowl, will feature Sister Act and Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Get swept up in the magic this summer.

The Vancouver Vice Tour
What: Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours presents a deep dive into the gritty history of the city’s West End neighbourhood in the ’70s and ’80s.
Led by award-winning author and historian Aaron Chapman, the Vancouver Vice Tour will explore a world of turf wars, gambling dens, wiretapped hustlers, vigilante cops, and more.

Vancouver International Jazz Festival
What: The Vancouver International Jazz Festival‘s extensive lineup for its 41st anniversary event runs from June 19 to July 5. There will be more than 175 performances and events, including dozens of free shows with diverse programming on stages throughout the city.

LMG Summer Comedy Competition

What: Cheer on your favourite local comedian this summer during the LMG Summer Comedy Competition until Friday, July 31. Comedians will face off for the chance of winning the top prize of $1,500 and the all-important bragging rights.

Playland 2026
What: There are over 30 rides and attractions to enjoy at Vancouver’s favourite amusement park, ranging from family-fun rides to extreme, heart-racing attractions.
Prepare yourself for the sky-high Atmosfear, the timeless Wooden Roller Coaster, and of course, The Beast — the massive pendulum that stands 12 storeys tall and swings at speeds of 90 km/h.
Playland Unlocked on opening weekend will welcome visitors with live DJs, special games and a chance to win prizes.
This year also marks the return of Playland Nights, a partnership between PNE and Feaster.

What: Vancouver Bandits bring Canadian Elite Basketball League action to the Langley Events Centre this weekend! They take on the Edmonton Stingers on July 4 and Calgary Surge on July 5.

FVDED in the Park

FVDED in the Park
What: Presented by Blueprint and Live Nation Canada, the annual event draws 45,000 attendees and features top names across multiple genres – from hip-hop and rap to R&B, electronic, pop and more.
The lineup of acts coming to FVDED in the Park includes Fisher, Dom Dolla, Disco Lines and more.

Guzheng & Tea
What: Guzheng artist Barret Bai is filling Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden with his mastery of the 21-string instrument Guzheng. Enjoy a cup of garden-blend jasmine tea and take in the traditional Chinese music with the beautiful garden backdrop.

Stanley Park Mini Golf
What: The City of Vancouver has opened a temporary 18-hole mini golf experience in Stanley Park. The new attraction is expected to last until the fall.
Go on a golf adventure through a whimsical mini-golf wonderland created with an artful take on geometric patterns. All ages are welcome to take a swing.
When: Now until the fall
Time: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Sunday through Wednesday) and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Thursday through Saturday)

Carnaval del Sol 2026
What: Carnaval del Sol 2026 returns to Vancouver’s Jonathan Rogers Park from July 10 to 12 as the Pacific Northwest’s largest Latin American festival.
Carnaval del Sol 2026 brings together more than 350 artists for three days of live music, dance, food, fútbol and cultural celebration. Highlights include a Latin American parade, diverse food offerings, family activities, and themed plazas for art, wellness and community experiences.
When: July 10 to 12, 2026
Time: 5:30 to 11 p.m. (Friday), 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Saturday)
