Summertime concerts just sound extra sweet in Vancouver.

From Jimmy Eat World to Opera in the Park and more, here are our picks of 10 great shows to check out around the city in July.

Jimmy Eat World

What: Jimmy Eat World is a two-time Billboard Music Award nominee that is touring to commemorate the 25th anniversary of their smash-hit album, Bleed American.

Bleed American is certified platinum in the U.S. and gold in the U.K., with the catchy single “The Middle” recently becoming a member of the Spotify Billion Streams Club. Other memorable tracks include the title song as well as “Sweetness.”

Khatsahlano Street Party

What: One of the city’s largest free music and arts festivals, Khatsahlano, will take place on Saturday, July 11, between Burrard Street and Macdonald Street.

The massive street party is presented by the Kitsilano West 4th Avenue Business Improvement Association, with a huge lineup of over 50 musical acts curated by Zulu Records.

Vancouver International Jazz Festival

What: The Vancouver International Jazz Festival‘s extensive lineup for its 41st anniversary event runs until July 5. There will be more than 175 performances and events, including dozens of free concerts with diverse programming on stages throughout the city.

FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver – Amphitheatre Concert Series and Park Stage free concert series

What: Soccer fans from around the world are coming to this summer for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and so are some of music’s biggest artists.

FIFA Fan Festival has revealed the amphitheatre Vancouver concerts lineup at the PNE, with the ticketed events being part of a massive transformation of the PNE into a “FIFA World Cup hub” with “family-focused entertainment to immersive fan activities for all ages.”

Organizers have also revealed more than 60 free performances at the Park Stage this summer, joining the music lineup for the 28 days of live entertainment at Hastings Park.

Canada Together at Canada Place

What: One of the largest July 1 celebrations in the country is returning to Vancouver this summer. Head to Canada Place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for a day of festivities, great food, family fun, and performances.

Don’t miss out on the CN Family Zone, Indigenous Marketplace, Expo 86 exhibit, a mascot dance-off, as well as incredible performances from Rebecca Sichon, The Matinee, The Strumbellas, and many more.

Candlelight Open Air: Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons at Grouse Mountain

What: An outdoor candlelight concert is coming to Grouse Mountain for two dates this summer.

The highly anticipated show will be put on by Fever, with the live, multi-sensory musical experience featuring hits from both Coldplay and Imagine Dragons. Get ready to hear timeless songs like “Clocks” and “Thunder” performed by a string quartet.

Tickets include the gondola trip and mountain admission anytime after 4 p.m. Additional add-ons are also available.

Mission Folk Music Festival

What: The Mission Folk Music Festival is back for its 39th year with two days and three nights of live open-air concerts.

Enjoy over two dozen artists on four stages, as well as artisan markets, food vendors, all ages activities, camping, and more.

Carnaval del Sol 2026

What: Carnaval del Sol 2026 returns to Vancouver’s Jonathan Rogers Park from July 10 to 12 as the Pacific Northwest’s largest Latin American festival.

Carnaval del Sol 2026 brings together more than 350 artists for three days of live concerts, dance, food, fútbol and cultural celebration. Highlights include a Latin American parade, diverse food offerings, family activities, and themed plazas for art, wellness and community experiences.

When: July 10 to 12, 2026
Time: 5:30 to 11 p.m. (Friday), 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Saturday)
Where: Jonathan Rogers Park — 110 W. 7th Ave., Vancouver
Cost: One Day General Admission starts at $15 — Available here. Entrance is FREE for children under 12 and seniors 65+. Opening Night Concert tickets are also available separately for $60 in advance, or $75 at the door.

Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra Concert 

What: Experience classical instruments playing modern Girlypop hits. Doors open at 6 p.m. for a warm-up DJ set, the main concert starts at 7 p.m., and the entire event ends at 8 p.m. Admission is free.

Opera in the Park

What: Vancouver Opera and the City of Burnaby present the annual Opera in the Park on Sunday, July 19, at Festival Lawn at Deer Lake Park.

The fun begins with pre-show activities for the whole family, including kids’ activities and roving performers.

Opera in the Park begins at 7:30 p.m. with Music Director Jacques Lacombe leading the Vancouver Opera Orchestra in the stirring evening performances.
