Richmond Night Market 2026

Richmond Night Market
What: The Richmond Night Market is returning this month, and with it, it’ll be bringing the world’s first night market zipline, an all-new Trading Card Zone, and over 500 food items to try.
The theme for this year’s market is “Little Wonder World,” which the market describes as a “dazzling, globe-trotting adventure filled with iconic landmark decorations, vibrant displays, and a stunning themed wall designed for unforgettable moments.” There will also be a giant soccer display.
As for bites, customers can expect anything from Asian street eats to trending global bites. In previous years, there have been eats including everything from jumbo oysters and birria tacos to takoyak, gochujang chicken corn pizza, and more.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs Colorado Rapids
What: Vancouver Whitecaps continue their MLS season this week as they take on the Colorado Rapids on April 25 at BC Place.

Party for the Planet
What: The City of Surrey is set to host the 15th annual Party for the Planet at Surrey Civic Plaza, presented by TD, on Saturday, April 25.
This year’s event will be packed full of entertainment and activities for the whole family. The best part is that it’s free to attend and just steps from the Surrey Central SkyTrain station.

Climb the Grouse Grind

What: If you’ve been eagerly awaiting your chance to climb nature’s stair master, you’re in luck because the Grouse Grind trail has officially reopened in time for the warmer weather.
The iconic trail is known to be one of the region’s more difficult hikes due to how steep it is. The path starts at 300 metres of elevation and reaches 1,090 metres throughout its duration.
Those planning on visiting the trail should come prepared with proper footwear and clothing, as well as water, snacks, and a cellphone.

Time: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost: Free to climb. Downhill hiking is not permitted on the trail, and visitors will need to take their return trip via the Grouse Mountain Resort Skyride and Gondola or the BCMC Route.

Harrison Tulip Festival

What: Now open daily until at least May 3, the Harrison Tulip Festival in Agassiz invites visitors to experience Canada’s largest tulip festival.
Spanning 45 acres, the festival features more than 14 million blooms, including tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. Guests can wander vibrant flower fields, explore the four-acre Show Garden, and enjoy food trucks, floral workshops, yoga sessions, and the illuminated Night Garden, which takes place within the Show Garden on select dates.
The festival promises unforgettable spring colour and immersive seasonal experiences.

Inlet Spring Regatta
What: Dragon boat racers and fans are taking to the waters of the Burrard Inlet this weekend.
The annual Inlet Spring Regatta will be held on Saturday, April 25, at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.
