'90s rock icon rides into Vancouver this summer for huge concert

Rock music fans in Vancouver are being treated to some great shows in 2026, and we can now add Beck to the concert lineup.
The eight-time Grammy winner is bringing the Ride Lonesome tour to Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Beck has only scheduled three Canadian dates on his highly anticipated North American tour, with two shows in Toronto this October. Tickets for all Ride Lonesome shows go on sale on Friday, April 24, at 10 a.m.

The tour announcement comes just one day after the three-time Brit Award winner dropped his surprise new single, “Ride Lonesome.”
“From the resonant acoustic guitar strains of its opening to the emotional peaks of its final chorus, this long-awaited new original composition is the first indication of a different yet familiar direction for Beck in the year ahead,” said Live Nation in a release.
Beck is acclaimed as one of the top alternative acts throughout the ’90s, with memorable hits like “Loser” and “Where It’s At.”
His last three albums — Morning Phase, Colors, and Hyperspace — each won Grammys. And earlier this year, he released the compilation album Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometimes.

It has been a busy season for Vancouver concert announcements, with fellow rockers The Strokes and Weezer coming to town later this year.
The acts for the PNE summer concerts have also been revealed, and some truly timeless stars are joining the party.
Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) will host its highly anticipated Summer Night Concerts at the Freedom Mobile Arch as part of the 2026 PNE Fair.
Highlights this year include Nelly, Sarah McLachlan, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
