In late April, witnesses called 911 after seeing stabbings occur on a bus at the bus bay at Joyce SkyTrain Station.

When police arrived on the scene, they discovered the victims, who were both bleeding after allegedly getting into a physical altercation on the bus with an unknown suspect.

Both of the victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that the suspect in the Vancouver assault reportedly left in an Evo rental car before the police arrived on the scene. He was then located and arrested shortly after the incident near Joyce Street and East 41st Avenue.
