Vancouver food and drink festivals you can’t miss this spring

Now that the weather is getting warmer, we can finally get excited about all the epic spring food and drink festivals happening in and around Vancouver (well, that and the incoming patio season, of course).
From farmers markets to food competitions and boozy nights out, here’s our list of some of the most exciting food and drink festivals happening this spring.

Curry Cup

Returning for its 11th year, Vancouver’s ultimate curry showdown will feature 10 chefs making a variety of different curries. With the purchase of a ticket, guests will have the chance to taste these delicious creations as well as enjoy some drinks and dessert samples.

East Side Beer Fest
Known as “the best bang-for-your-buck beer tasting in the city,” East Side Beer Fest is returning for its 11th year, featuring 25 breweries and tastings, all included in your ticket.

New West Farmers Market Season Opener Block Party

Start the farmers market season off right by celebrating the first New West Farmers Market of the season. There will be free cupcakes for the first 100 visitors, a piñata, free children’s crafts, face painting, balloon animals, and a silent auction. If you can’t make it to the opening day, you can still visit the farmers market every Thursday until Oct. 30.

Food Truck Wars

Food Truck Wars is returning for another year, pitting truck against truck for awards in multiple categories. You’ll have the chance to eat some delicious meals and vote for your favourite trucks. This year also features a new creative food award.

Richmond Night Market 2025

Not only is the Richmond Night Market returning with all of its epic eats and drinks, but this year, it’s unveiling a 600-foot zipline across the market stalls and attractions.
“With four ziplines side by side, riders can race their friends or simply take in the ultimate night market view!” shared the night market.
