Popular Vancouver morning radio show makes huge change official

One of the longest-running Vancouver radio shows has made a hosting change official, and fans of MOVE 103.5 could not be happier.
On Thursday, Oct. 1, Bell Media confirmed that Erin Davis would be officially stepping in as co-host of Drew and Erin in the Morning from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The move comes just months after original show co-host Nat Hunter left in June to move back to Ontario to be closer to family.

“In June, our longtime friend and colleague, Nat Hunter, left the show, moved home to Ontario to be with family and to start a great new job opportunity within our company,” said Drew Savage in a video posted to the station’s social media channels. “And she’s doing great. We talk all the time. She’s constantly sending me links to dogs she thinks I should adopt.”
“But since she left, people have been asking what’s happening with the show. As time went on, it just became obvious as to what we should do. And what we wanted to do. So this morning, to make it official: Erin, want to be my partner?”
Davis, with a big smile on her face, replied, “Yes, please.”

Savage and Hunter first launched The Nat & Drew Show on Z95.3 in the early 2000s before moving to QMFM in 2014. The station would rebrand to MOVE in 2020.
Davis has worked as the Vancouver radio show’s producer and then as the third host for many years before officially being named co-host this week.
“Pinch me, because this is sincerely a dream come true,” said Davis in a release. “I get to step into this amazing role as co-host, and continue working every morning with my close friend and radio legend (he’ll absolutely hate that I called him that), Drew Savage!
“I am so incredibly happy to continue waking up with our wonderful MOVE listeners, and I can’t wait for all the fun times ahead.”

“We love Erin Davis,” added another. “She is the warm, comforting voice that starts off our morning and makes us feel it’s going to be a good day. Congratulations, Erin.”
Davis thanked her family, Savage, the show’s producer Alexa, and all the Vancouver radio listeners for their support as well as for tuning in over the years.
“Most importantly and the biggest, thank you, goes to all of you who are listening right now, our family,” added Davis. “I don’t say that lightly. Our radio family, the legacy of this show, that people who’ve been on it.
“You know, it’s a thrill for us to hear from you on the phone or the texts or to be live on a broadcast at Walmart on a Saturday. And there you are saying hello. We love it so much, and we love you and thank you.”
