If you’re anything like us, the hunger for unique and delicious food-and-beverage-centred events is as strong as ever. It’s a good thing Vancouver always delivers them in excess.

Big Day BBQ at The American

The Big Day BBQ at The American tailgate will take place every Sunday until the end of the year. Enjoy Texas-style brisket, ribs, pulled pork, Tex-Mex pasta salad, smokey slaw, and pit beans too.

Vancouver Christmas Market 2019

Nutcracker Afternoon Tea

Held in the eatery’s Private Dining Room, this new tea service will be offered from now until December 31, 2019 (excluding December 24 and 25). There will be daily sittings at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm. Adult tickets cost $79 and children $39.50 (ages 12 and under).

Festive Afternoon Tea at H Tasting Lounge

H Tasting Lounge at the Westin Bayshore has an extra-festive service for people to indulge in this month. The eatery now offers a Festive Afternoon Tea during weekends from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm until December 29.

Bells and Whistles’ Sunday Night Movie Series: Christmas Edition

This month Bells and Whistles is getting festive with screenings of Die Hard (December 1), Planes, Trains and Automobiles (December 8), Home Alone (December 15), Elf (December 22), and The Apartment (December 29).

Vancouver Humane Society X Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary Giving Tuesday

The two charities have teamed up with 26 businesses in Metro Vancouver offering plant-based fare to raise $15,000 — which will be used to help farmed animals in BC.

Taco Tuesday Fundraiser for Growing Chefs! at Ocho

Tacofino Ocho will be hosting a Growing Chefs! Taco Tuesday Fundraiser from 6 to 9 pm on December 3. Guestlist is available by donation online.

Krampus Market at Strange Fellows Brewing

The second annual KRAMPUSMARKT at Strange Fellows Brewing returns this season. The market will feature goods from over 30 artisans including jewellery, baked goods, leather, wall art, and more alongside beer tastings.

Kensington Holiday Craft Fair

The 12th annual Kensington Holiday Craft Fair features holiday gifts and stocking stuffers crafted by local artisans. In addition to free parking, the event hosts a raffle and door prizes for attendees.

Got Craft? Holiday Edition

Got Craft? works to create a community supporting handmade and do-it-yourself culture. Since being founded in 2007, their bi-annual fairs bring together more than 75 designers and craft workshops, tasty treats, music, free bags, and a collective attendance of more than 5,500 per year.
