6 special holiday feasts to enjoy in Vancouver this December

December is a stellar month to eat.

This December, folks can enjoy a festive four-course family-style lunch at Forage. Enjoy eats like Okanagan apple and endive salad, a charcuterie board and roasted Fraser Valley turkey with all the trimmings to name a few. Lunch is available at either 11:30 am or 12 noon on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from December 11 to 20.

Available from November 18 to December 30, this popular Yaletown sushi spot is offering a four-course Holiday Shokai menu for $110 per person. This spread features a Fraser Valley Chicken and Pork Terrine, a selection of Aburi Holiday Sushi Selection (including signature Aburi Salmon Oshi). The main is a stunning Sous Vide Scallop Mousseline and Sterling Silver Tenderloin and Foie Gras, and it’s all finished with a Ruby Chocolate Strawberry Basil Mousse.

Miku is offering a six-course Holiday Kaiseki menu for $150 per person from November 18 to December 30. This feast includes a Tai Dashi Consommé amuse bouche, a Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, a Kaiseki Arita course with five seasonal items. For the main course, a surf and turf course of Filet Mignon and Aburi Lobster Tail and a selection of Aburi sushi. Folks will finish this meal with a holiday-exclusive Pistachio Paris-Brest.
