Mount Pleasant Farmers’ Market

  • What: Shoppers are invited to amble over and pick up some afternoon picnic supplies, groceries for the week, and Sunday dinner fixings from over 25 farms and producers. Each week you’ll find a fresh selection of just-picked seasonal fruits and veggies, ethically-raised meats & sustainable seafood, artisanal bread and prepared foods, craft beer, wine, and spirits, handmade craft, coffee, and food trucks.

Still Creek Watershed Tour

  • What: A guided bicycle tour along the Central Valley Greenway and urban trails presented by Still Moon Arts Society and the City of Burnaby. Learn the history of Still Creek and environmental enhancement projects at stops along the way.

  • Time: 9:30 am
  • Where: Departing from Renfrew Skytrain Station in Vancouver, ends at Burnaby City Hall.

Coho Bon Voyage

  • What: Release coho salmon fry, see the fish hatchery and discover the ecological importance of salmon. Presented by Bowen Island Fish & Wildlife Club.

  • Where: Crippen Regional Park – Meet at Terminal Creek Hatchery, a 15-minute walk from the ferry dock

Richmond Night Market

  • What: This market draws crowds from across the province, who travel to check out the rows on rows of vibrant cuisine along with the diverse line-up of nightly performances on the 50-foot entertainment stage. There will be over 100 food vendors and 200 retail stalls this year.

  • Time: Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm to midnight; Sundays and holiday Mondays from 7 to 11 pm

Bike to Work Week

  • What: Bike to Work Week is a community event to celebrate bike commuting across Metro Vancouver. Visit over 80 Celebration Stations offering free drinks, snacks, quick bike tune-ups, and great prizes.

Steveston Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market

  • What: The Steveston Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market is a place for the community to meet farmers and artisans in an open, fresh-air environment. Find fresh locally grown produce, artisan-processed foods, local arts and crafts, music by talented local musicians, ready-to-eat food and refreshments, children’s craft and activities, and entertainment throughout the season.

UBC Robson Japanese Market

  • What: Vendors and crafters will be putting their work on display for a unique shopping event. The market will feature unique Japanese crafts and products such as jewellery, soap, postcards, notebooks, dry flowers, ceramics, kimono, cute pouches, charms, tabi socks, hair accessories, and much more. There will also be onsite service offering hair styling, massage, aromatherapy, Sato lymph care and reiki, so you can be pampered while you shop.

Hype City 3

Feeling Supreme/Image: Heat Vault

  • What: Vancouver Sneakerheads Group and Vancouver Streetwear Community are bringing Canada’s largest sneaker and streetwear event to the Harbour Convention Centre. From Supreme to Yeezy to Jordan, you’ll find in-demand items from across the world at the event. Not forgetting the limited edition pieces and rare vintage items in pristine condition. You can also take part in interactive activities and learn about the history of sneakers like the Air Force 1 at Hype City. Plus, you’ll be in with the chance of winning prizes with raffles and giveaways happening throughout the event.

Fraser Valley Food Truck Festival

  • What: This free event is uber popular for foodies in the Metro Vancouver/Fraser Valley area. Each fest will feature around a dozen trucks with food and beverage for purchase, live entertainment, and artisan market vendors. Most events will run from 11 am to 5 pm.
