Scripts and Sips: Beer Edition

  • What: Come listen to or participate in a live play reading at The Anvil Centre. Roles will be chosen from a hat of willing participants just prior to the reading. You also will be able to sip on a beverage chosen to match the play.

Gramatik

Science of Cocktails 2018

  • What: This event brings together the city’s most talented bartenders and chefs who showcase the chemistry, biology, and physics behind preparing modern cocktails and cuisine. Tickets will grant attendees access to the open bar with 25+ bar stations serving unique cocktails crafted by award-winning bartenders, access to special cocktail science activities, and hands-on demos and Science World programming. Guests can also enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres prepped by local chefs.

Flashback Film Festival

  • What: ​​Cineplex is hosting the Flashback Film Festival at select theatres across Canada, where attendees will be able to sit back with some movie theatre popcorn and enjoy their favourite flicks from the ’80s and ’90s.

The Rocky Mountaineer Job Fair 

  • What: The luxury train company is hiring for three teams. First of all, you can work onboard the train rolling through the breathtaking Rockies, delivering impeccable hospitality to guests.
