Check out cult-classics on the big screen at the Flashback Film Festival

You finally have a chance to watch all your favourite cult-classic films on the big screen.

Cineplex is hosting the Flashback Film Festival at select theatres across Canada, where attendees will be able to sit back with some movie theatre popcorn and enjoy their favourite flicks from the ’80s and ’90s.

This is great news for anyone who, you know, didn’t exist in 1985, but would still love to watch Back to the Future as if it had just been released.

Other movies include Gremlins, Hot Fuzz, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Big Lebowski, and more.

The festival runs from February 2 to 8, and for any die-hard fans (no, not Die Hard fans, they’re actually not playing that one) they are offering a $75 festival pass that gives you access to the entire 15-movie event.

Otherwise you’ll be paying $9 per flick, or $8 per if you’re watching three or more throughout the week.

Not a bad deal compared to what you’d be paying to take a chance on newer releases, and you won’t even have to worry about wearing those annoying 3D glasses for these movies – unless you’re watching Terminator 2.
