A popular Vancouver doughnut shop is opening its third location

Mello, a viral doughnut shop that makes brioche-style sweet treats, recently announced that it has opened its third Vancouver location.
The company posted on Instagram yesterday, stating it “quietly opened the doors” to this new location, which is on 1428 Robson St.
“We’re still in our soft opening stage and getting everything settled, so please bear with us while we find our rhythm in our new home,” Mello wrote.
The new location has dine-in space and seating. Mello also teased that it’ll be introducing new menu items over time, aside from its doughnuts.
“We can’t wait to share all the new things we’ve been preparing with you,” it wrote. “And just like always, everything is made fresh daily in our own kitchen.”
Many people expressed their excitement for the new shop in the comments, saying things like “We can’t wait!!” and “Can’t wait to try!”
In its Instagram post, Mello acknowledged the closure of its Arbutus location in February of last year, which the company said was due to the redevelopment of its building.
“To everyone who’s been missing our Arbutus location, and to those who wished they could sit down and stay a little longer when visiting us in Chinatown, we’d love to welcome you to Robson,” Mello wrote.
Mello also has a location at Vancouver’s Time Out Market, which opened this spring.
