Tate McRae

What: Tate McRae has had a busy year. Earlier this year, she was interviewed by Vogue magazine, where she gave a shoutout to her hometown and its cold and dry climate. In February, she was selected as one of four celebrity captains at the 2024 NHL All-Star weekend.
McRae is gearing up for a busy 2025 with the upcoming release of her latest album, So Close To What. The two-time Juno winner is also in the record books as the first Canadian finalist on So You Think You Can Dance.

Khatsahlano Street Party 2025
What: One of the city’s largest free music and arts festivals, Khatsahlano will take place on Saturday, July 5, between Burrard Street and Macdonald Street.
There’s sure to be something for all musical tastes, with over 60 artists to discover throughout the #CampKhats themed summer party. You’ll want to check out the MacDonald Stage, presented by Daily Hive and Third.Space, which will showcase powerhouse performer Missy D, folk alt-rockers Shred Kelly, rising indie-pop group Cherry Pick, and more.

Keith Urban
What: Country music superstar Keith Urban is bringing his latest tour to Vancouver along with platinum-selling artist Chase Matthew, chart-topping singer Alana Springsteen, and fast-rising star Karley Scott Collins.
Keith Urban has sold over 20 million albums throughout his illustrious career, thanks to hits like “Somebody Like You,” “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me,” and “The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood. The four-time Grammy winner has 25 Canadian #1 songs under his belt and performed at the 2019 Grey Cup halftime show in Calgary.

40th Annual Vancouver Jazz Festival

Vancouver International Jazz Festival
What: The Vancouver International Jazz Festival‘s extensive lineup for its 40th anniversary event runs from Friday, June 20, to Tuesday, July 1. Over 12 days, there will be more than 150 performances and events, including dozens of free shows with diverse programming on stages throughout the city.
New this year is the Bentall Centre Happy Hour Series on the Dunsmuir Patio at Bentall Centre. Every afternoon from June 23 to 27, from 4 to 6 p.m., the festival is hosting free concerts featuring musical acts such as Parlour Panther, Colin Sankey Band, and Kristin Fung.
The 2025 Vancouver International Jazz Festival wraps up on July 1 with a free concert series at Ocean Artworks on Granville Island.

Pleasant Day Festival
What: Pleasant Day Festival is taking over a huge stretch of Main Street for a vibrant community celebration full of dining, shopping, interactive activities and live music.
The family-friendly event on Saturday, Aug. 9, is presented by the Mount Pleasant Business Improvement Area (MPBIA). Pleasant Day will feature several stages showcasing local artists and musicians, market vendors, and games and activities for all ages.

Jonas Bros.
What: The Jonas Brothers are heading to Vancouver as part of their latest tour, and they’re bringing guests Boys Like Girls to the show.
The last time the popular trio was in town for a dedicated concert was November 2023, when they were on the Five Albums, One Night tour. They also performed at the Grey Cup halftime show last year and did not disappoint.

Public Disco’s Pride Block Party
What: Public Disco is hosting its fourth annual Pride Block Party on Saturday, Aug. 2, in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant. The 19+ event features international DJs like Jason Kendig and DJ Hermano alongside local performers, food trucks, pop-up bars, and more.

Symphony at Sunset 2025
What: Who doesn’t love a free summer concert? One of Vancouver’s most beloved summertime traditions, Symphony at Sunset, is back at Sunset Beach Park this July for its sixth year. The annual event brings together the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and hundreds of beach-goers for a magical evening of live orchestral music surrounded by stunning city and ocean views.

Creed
What: Legendary rockers Creed have announced new dates for their latest North American tour, and it will soon be Vancouver’s turn to welcome them with arms wide open.
The Grammy-nominated group is bringing the Summer of ’99 Tour to Rogers Arena on Saturday, Aug. 16, with special guests Big Wreck and Mammoth WVH.
